ReplyDelete“We started walking on the sandy beach… we saw a cluster of huts… there was no one in the village, mortars lay in the sand… fishermen”(59). I wonder why the fishermen are not moving away from the rebels like Ishmael, and why didn't the other villages move away? Couldn't Ishmael have warned them?
